Jeff Garcia has proven that he cannot lead mediocre talent, and critics think he got lucky last year in Philly. Fans looking to buy tickets can expect Tampa to make serious improvements, but its key players will remain inconsistent coming into the season. Their defense is looking a bit old as well. Their offensive players are shaping up with Jerramy Stevens and Alex Smith, but the OL remains weak. They also lost emerging star Dewayne White to the Lions. Ticket buyers can definitely expect improvement this season. There’s nowhere to go but up. Tampa Bay has been a team of ups and downs. Upon entering the league in '76, the Bucs lost their first 27 games. Then they had a winning streak in the 80s, then another losing season.
